Ah, thanks for the info Norman, I know that site. Have bought many stuff from them in the 90s, but didn't check them in the last years. Isn't that the site that was maintained by Jerry Greiner back then?

Yes, I think it was Jerry Greiner back in the early days.

Here are the latest eBay catches from Canada (again for the Colecovision system):

Yes, I like the Epyx style too. But I think my favorite artwork is that from Synapse.

I have another parcel with many XL games on the way from the USA. I am concentrating on Coleco and Atari XL at the moment. However, CIB Coleco stuff is really hard to come by ...

Haven't posted here new acquisations for a long time, because I did not buy much stuff in the last months due to too much work.

Bought 14 CIB Vectrex games to replace some bad copies I had in my collection. The games I got now are almost mint, so I am very happy with that deal. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos.

Then I got a few Thorn EMI games for the Atari XL, as well as a Datamost game in Ziploc bag. I am missing only three more Thorn EMI games now for a complete collection, if my info is right.

And finally five games for the Atari 2600 from the AtariAge store, all of them unreleased prototypes from the 1980s: Saboteur (CX26119), Turbo and the three UA games Cat Trax, Funky Fish and Pleiades, known from the Emerson/Hanimex/Schmid system.

Just got another parcel from the US. All three parcels (this one and the two above) slipped through the customs smile

In this parcel: Dark Cavern from M Network (I don't think this one was released by Telegames in Europe), Shark Attack by Apollo and three U.S. games: Name This Game, Gopher and Eggomania. All of them CIB and except for Dark Cavern all boxes in excellent condition. Got those via gamegavel.

Four more games to go to complete my U.S. Games collection: Picnic, Piece o'Cake, Raft Rider, Entombed (I have loose carts of Raft Rider and Entombed).

Indeed! smile

However, browsing atarimania intensely yesterday I found out that 20th Century Fox and Apollo released some of their games also in PAL format, with multilingual boxes and manuals. I always assumed that Fox and Apollo games were only sold in the US.

I thought that my Fox and Apollo collections would soon be complete, but with that info I made a few steps back. Allthough I think that the Euro releases of those two companies are extremely rare, so maybe I don't even go after those and stay with the Fox and Apollo NTSC releases ...

Oh well, that's the difficult life of a die-hard collector ...

Got "Odyssey Evil" today, a high quality homebrew for the Magnavox Odyssey, i. e. the "original" Odyssey, not Odyssey2!

Looks great!

Description from the programmer:

Odyssey Evil opens up a door to another dimension merging fantasy with reality and will have you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire game play. This two player game utilizes the odyssey as an electronic game board with our unique full color screen overlay. Put on the overlay, dim the lights and enter a realm of pure evil as you roll the dice and follow our game guides. The object of the game is to seek out mythical creatures only rumored to exist and destroy them. Be prepared to pull and cut off pieces of their bodies or items they hold as trophies to prove their death and existence. Be the first hunter to return with 6 trophies and you will gain wealth beyond your wildest dreams…….

Haven't played it yet though. Pretty much work to set up the Odyssey ...

Do you have an Odyssey console? I could bring the game to our next meeting then.

Btw, here are more pictures:

Wow, a great acquisition list again - thanks, Prinz for sharing thumbup I for myself just bought some protective cases fitting 2600, Coleco and Intv boxes. They look nice, they do protect but they do take some shelve space away.

Say, Prinz, do you have some spare boxed Prinztronic, Rowtron, Acetronic games available for sale?
