November 1967 – Ping-Pong Games Are Here!
Herb Campman came to play the new ping-pong and a new gun game, too. We all agreed that we were really on to something important now! The project had received another infusion of money in October (about eight grand) and more came later. This allowed us to spend several months into the next year (1968) perfecting circuitry for a programmable game that could play ping-pong, volleyball, football, gun games and chase games. The paddle and ball symbols were to remain white but we decided that the backgrounds were to change with the game played: Blue for hockey, green for ping-pong and football, black for target shooting and chase games.
