1969 – Demonstrating Our Brown Box And Trying To Find Licensee

s_story_baer06The Brown Box with the light gunBy May of ’69 Bill and I were essentially „done“: We had the final version of a switch programmable TV game which we dubbed the „Brown Box“. We called it that because we had covered the game unit with brown self adhesive, woodgrain paper to make it look less klutzy. We also had a good target shooting gun, a neat golf putting game accessory and our trusty multiple choice quiz game light gun. All this was finished and working well. Only our marketing problem remained unresolved.
