Ok, yesterday the nice postwoman brought a parcel with nine Cosmi games for the Atari 400/800. All of them were shrinkwrapped, unfortunately some of the boxes are squeezed due to the foil. As always with new arrivals, I unshrinked them ... (why does that sound dirty somehow?)
Today the friendly postwoman brought something that I wanted for a long time:
The Intellivision Music Synthesizer is actually mint. The box shows some scuffs but that doesn't matter. I always thought there is only a brown version of the synthesizer but recently learned that there is a later grey version too, fitting the Intellivision II. I would have prefered the brown version, but the grey one will do fine too for now.
I was always disappointed of the Philips music game, I thought it would have a "real" keyboard too (according to the image on the box), but actually it was just a small keyboard overlay for the console. So I was excitedly waiting for the Intellivision keyboard - and it is a REAL one! The size of this thing was always hard to estimate on photos. Is it full size? Or just a small "keyboard" like the one for the Videopac? Well, let me tell you, it is full size. The Intellivision keyboard measures approximately 73.5 x 18.5 cm! 49 full-size keys. 4 octaves. 6-note polyphonic. Nice stuff! ![]()

Wow, a great acquisition list again - thanks, Prinz for sharingI for myself just bought some protective cases fitting 2600, Coleco and Intv boxes. They look nice, they do protect but they do take some shelve space away.

Congrats to this great find, Dieter!
These Synthesizers are not easy to find anymore. The brown version is nearly impossible to get.
Always wanted such a device back in my early Intellivision years, but never got it. Could not afford it,because it only works with the ECS, which also was very pricey these days.
There was a Drum Synthesizer by Mattel Electronics too - Synsonics Drums - to make the music system complete, way ahead of its time.
Once again - a great find, Dieter!![]()
Gruß an Dieter und alle Retro-Fans!

I always envied Intellivision owners for that music synthesizer back then when I saw it in the ads of the game magazines. But I couldn't even afford an Intellivision, I had to stick with my G7000 and later G7400 ![]()
I didn't know back then that the ECS was needed to use the synthesizer.
And I knew the Synsonic Drums too, there were many ads back in the days for those.
Do you own a brown synthesizer now?

Aber mit wenig Ei bitte …
I decided to collect only the 20 German Saba games for this system. There are many clones and I don't have the space and mood to collect them all, so I bought this fine boxed multicart.
For my German Saba collection I still need the instruction manuals of games #16, #17 and #19. Oh, and the joystick cover of the console. Maybe anyone can help me out?

Got a nice parcel from England:

(to swap a few boxes from my collection into better ones, oh and the Space Chase is the rare multilingual European version!)
And another one from Canada:
