The Atari games have really nice artwork. I remember that the cover artwork had a much higher significance back in the 80s than today. Today, when collecting retro video games, I don't look at the covers most times. But back then, we sat in front of a Niedermeyer or Hartlauer catalog and stared at the cover photos of the games for hours, imagined how the game could be. The actual graphics of the game, that we often saw only after we bought it, was not that important, because we had the cover artwork in mind, and our imagination somehow connected the cover artwork with the actual game graphics. That was great and I miss this feeling somehow with today's video games, where the cover artwork doesn't count, but only the in-game graphics.

P.S.: Does anyone know why Casino has the "Special Edition" on it?
Really don´t understand the meaning of this "Special Edition" sign. I know it from other early games like "Superman" and "BASIC Programming". Where are the Atari specialists here?
Nice to see a Parker Atari 5200 game box.
Gruß an Dieter und alle Retro-Fans!
Received a better box for my Colecovision Frenzy, which is torn pretty badly, and boxes for Tarzan (just had cartridge so far) and Roc 'N' Rope (completely new entry to my collection) today! Unfortunately, all these are replacing NTSC versions and thus no spares for the Computer König guy aka RichMan.

Well addicted and addicted. About 30 of the games were bought at the EuroCon-weekend and they became really cheap in England. The most expensive one I bought there was £ 4 and lots of the games were sold for a Pound.
hi acetronic fans
hi AdrianI won it yesterday waiting for it to come.this is what he put on it on ebay.the unusual thing about this console is you can programme it and store games on cassette…..it comes with what looks like a home made cassette interface and also a folder containing what looks like someones lifetime of work……including programs etc…mostly hand written, this is quite interesting, although i must say its way over my head…..ive tried the console with the carts and it works fine, however i have not tried the programming side but ive no reason to think it doesnt work, there are 3 cassettes included which i presume have programs on them, but again i dont know.the console is boxed and in excellent order as are the 6 boxed carts.Adrian pongman from pppwoow sounds really cool – keep me updated what happens next :-)
