Bowie is one of my all-time favorites. Saw him in Vienna two times. This guy kicks ass!

Labyrinth is fine.
Last Temptation of Christ, The Man who fell from Earth for example. Also starred in Christiane F. but had no real acting to do, just performing a concert.

Dammit yeah, I had Der Mann der auf die Erde fiel even on DVD, but it had only the German language on it, so I sold the DVD. Have to find it some day again with English language.
I didn't know about his performance in Christiane F – but YOU are the cineast here, allthough you infected me too a bit already

Ron D. Moore of Star Trek fame made a relaunch with a 3 hour pilot in 2003 and a 5 season lasting series later on in 2004. It is widely recognised as one of the best SciFi series there is. And it really is. I won't give spoilers away – simply buy the pilot episode on DVD, which is cheap to get on Amazon.co.uk and get a feeling.
Seperate seasons on DVD are available on Amazon and there is a Blu-ray complete edition (including all you need) also. I don't know if the complete edition is also available on DVD – please check Amazon.
