Is there a website with SECAM screenshot of Atari 2600 games? Is it true that the poor frenchman and -girls had to live with an ugly 16 (or 8) color-variation of 2600 games?

aah, the old “war of the systems”…Atari against Philips, Intellivision, Colecovision…..

BTW the Atari 2600 can display 128 colors, more than all other classic systems

(Colecovision only 16). How many colors can the Philips G7000 display?

Well, to be precise, the VCS can display 16 colors out of a palette of 128 colors and the Colocevision can also display 16 colors, but has only a palette of 16 colors.

And if we want to fight a system war the Colecovision has a Video-Ram, can display more sprites, has a faster processor,… I don't think the technical details of the system can explain the success of the VCS.
