Mark is right!
This might be my old G7400. I cannot remember putting those stickers on my G7400 back then, but:
a) DIK were my initials in the 1980s.
b) We had a Samsonite suitcase back then, that had self-adhesive letter stickers, and they looked exactly like the ones on this G7400
It is really possible that this is my old G7400 from 1984, and I would like to bid on it. So please be kind and don't bid, thanks ![]()
Das taugt mir!
Aber mit wenig Ei bitte …
another question,
does anyone of you know the G-7400 tape recorder?

There is no such thing as a dedicated G7400 tape recorder. You could use any tape recorder with microphone and headphone jacks. I think Philips used just a standard Philips tape recorder for that picture.

isn't this the one which is also used on a picture on either the C7420 box or in one of the catalogs ? I always assumed this is the "official" C7420 tape recorder (which buy the way also understands the remote control from the 3rd cable - no idea if this was ever standardized ...)
There's always one more try – I'm not afraid to die! (Heart of Steel, Manowar)
it´s from one of the manuals of the philips videopac microsoft basic module.
check this out:

here you can see the two C-7420 manuals i have (french & italian). note the strange joysticks shown on the cover of the french manual.

1-2 years ago a guy sold a lot of stuff on ebay. along with it he also sold a loose tape player especially for the videopac system. it was the one pictured on the c-7420 manual.
i will check my pictures if i still have one of this tape player

Those are Odyssey3-style joysticks. I have no idea why they appear on a European manual. Maybe at some time Philips thought of replacing the old joysticks with the Odyssey3 joysticks. I am not sure if G7400s with those new joysticks have been actually found so far?
