Bought a “1007 Super Wipeout” * from AtariBuff yesterday. This cartridge has a strange controller connector on the backside. The manual says “Plug one of the joystick player control units (included with your Radofin Programmable Video System) into the socket at the top of the cartridge”.

Weird thing. Anyone knows more about that?

* Edit: Actually it was not a Super Wipeout, but a Skill Cycle.

the cycle games and the tank carts also came with these plugs but i never saw a wipeout cart with this plug. for the tank carts there were special controllers available that were delivered with the cartridge. for example the shg blackpoint sold these tank carts in big boxes including the controllers.

we should do a "all radofin tele-sports III & IV" carts next

this was just a startup i once did and it is missing the tank cart:

Hmm, it seems that the Super Wipeout box on your picture has the same thickness as the other boxes. But my Super Wipeout box has almost the double thickness of the other boxes.

Probably I have a very rare gem here that AtariBuff sold me for a few Euros yesterday Tongue out

You did! As Adrian said there are also cycle and tank carts like that, but I've never seen the Wipeout game with the controller connector. Good deal for you! Anyway there are a lot of pong carts which are really rare, but most of them are not expensive... And: pics please! Laughing

Sure you may ask Grin

No, really, I'll look in the cellar today, also for those Acetronic games.

I am an idiot Dunce

I bought a Skill Cycle and a Super Wipeout from Ataribuff in December. As I was going to take photos now, I noticed that the Super Wipeout is the normal cart. The cart with the controller plug is Skill Cycle. I mixed that up, very sorry.

So nothing special here. Keep moving ... Rolleyes
