Bought a “3014 PF Prizefight” from AtariBuff yesterday. Included in the box were 2 two-sided overlays, on one side they have printed “3001 Cartridge Overlay” on them, on the other side “Special Purpose Overlay”. Do those belong to the boxing game? They are not mentioned in the manual.

Das taugt mir!

i already found around 6 or 8 of these overlays. they all came with cartridge lots i once bought. does anyone know why they printed these 2 sided overlays? i guess not that they originally came with the boxing game. what does ataribuff say about this?

hmm, this overlay was already in the box when I acquired this game. I have no clue.

Jens does the 3001 game have the same overlays? I mean are those double-sided too, with the "Special Purpose" printed on the back side?

Yes I have 3001-overlays like that, need to check the boxing overlays...

Finaly I've checked this out:

My 3001 carts have the double-sided overlays.

All my boxing games don't have overlays. I don't think that they made overlays for the game, because you don't really need them...

Maybe they've used the double-sided overlays for games that doesn't have own overlays?
