Would like to show different box variations with "Soccer" as game example.

First we have the international box with manual inserts on the back:

Then we have the US-box with english text on the back:

Next is a canadian edition with bilingual texts on front and back:

Very rare is this brazilian Digiplay issue with portuguese text:

Last version is the cheaper produced "short box" from the post-Mattel Electronics era (Intellivision Inc. and INTV Corp.):

Yeah, there are some games that were released in white boxes in Europe, but not in the US. Does anyone know why? Probably late releases, but that still doesn't explain it.

No explanation for the white style boxes so far.In 1983/4  I thought it would be the new type of Mattel Electronics game boxes, but a title like "Buzz Bombers" came in a different (canadian) version on the german market. And I never saw "Bump´n´Jump" in that type.

As far as I know there are just 4 titles in european white box style: "Burgertime","Vectron","Shark!Shark!" and "Mission X". Why them - I don´t know...

OIC

But the game box variations are not at all boring, that is video game archeology and is very exciting!!! <img decoding="async" class="wp-smiley" src="/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="mrgreen" />
