There are not too many anouncments for events in 2009… Only one I've found yet is Byte Back. Anyone going there?

Jens and I have been to Byte-Back and had a fantastic weekend over there. We did take a lot of pics, but mine are still on my camera… Anyway, Mat and Keith (the EuroCon people of you might know them) took some pics and you can find them online here and here.

Looking forward for more events later this year!

Yes, it was very well organized. The crazy thing about it is, that it was more or less a one-man-show. I don't think that he'll do it again…

They had 250 visitors, about 50 systems ready to play, guest speakers, various arcade-machines, etc. All in all the biggest event I've been to in Europe, yet. (Could have been a few more sellers and a venue with coffee/better food, but that are the only two minuses I could find…)

Well, I prefer the EuroCon to be a bit smaller than Byte-Back. I think 30-50 people + a lot of visitors for the fair is the right size for an event like this. The special thing about EuroCon is IMO that you really get in touch with the the most of the other attendees over the years. People from a few more countries (to make it more european) would be nice, but maybe we'll manage that one day…

Would be nice to hear from such shows in advance.

I've posted it in this post in December.

Be sure to check out this and this… (Both are only fairs, but surly worth the trip, especially when you can get a cheap flight!)

I agree, 30 – 40 people as hardcore is probably the best for the con to have the chance to talk to most of them. But on the trade day, there should be 500 Grin

Yeah, but you'll be hard pressed to get that many to Kapfenberg, Dieter.

Worry not, you'll get full moral support from your fellow countrymen! LMAO

Yep, and to make thinks easier for you we'll take over the hyping! Neener
