Hello Arcadia collectors!

I now added a lot of pictures of my Cosmos Fernsehspiel console to the website:

http://www.pong-picture-page.d.....anguage=en

Can anybody tell us more about this rare system, for example the date it was sold, or through which shopping centre it was available or how much cartridges were released under the cosmos label.

Great pics! I love this machine. Strangest thing about it is that it looks like the child of a Tele-Fever and an Atari 800xl... (And all the family wonders were it got the orange knobs from.)

@Adrian: Thanks for taking the pics!

Very interesting console. Compared to this one, the Tele-Fever is extremely common LOL. Never heard of that Cosmos thing before!!

your welcome jens :-) you waited for the pics for such a long time - and i always have a bad feeling outbidding you on this many years ago (when we both were young and hard rivals on the start of our ebay career ;-)

... i think you had a small revenge taking the cosmos cart didn´t you?

Nr. X5? So maybe there were at least five games, where the Tele-Fever had only four?

On the back of the Cosmos cart is a list of games with numbers:

X1 Hobo (different to the cart on the systems box which is called "Pilot" and has the same picture on the lable as "Space Attack" for the Schmid TVG.)
X2 Cat Trax
X3 Astro Invader
X4 Spiders
X5 Jump Bug (the only confirmed one)

And yes, I'm hiding some gems, but unfortunatly Jump Bug is the only Cosmos cart I have…

I can see future generations of video game researchers try to find out what this mysterious "leap froggy" for the Cosmos console is, which appears in all the Arcadia game lists as a rumoured release... Tongue out
