I am going to sell a Hanimex HMG 2650 and a Schmid TVG 2000 to someone in the USA. Both consoles have no power supply unit. To my knowledge it should be possible for the buyer in the US just to buy a universal PSU, is that right? Or does it matter if the console gets its power via a 220v or a 110v PSU?

Other question: A PSU from an Emerson Arcadia 2001 would work as well with a HMG 2650 or a TVG 2000, right?

Das taugt mir!

Aber mit wenig Ei bitte …

It matters only what the PSU is "sending" to the console. Check if volt and mA are matching and if you need DC or AC. For excample I'm using an European PSU for a Japanese Super Famicom and it's working fine, but it's not working with an American one.

All the Hanimex systems I've seen need a 12 Volt PSU, Schmid consoles exist as a 9 Volt and a 12 Volt variant. Don't know what Emerson consoles need.
