Looks good,Reinhard!

Bought from the “vintage-games-shop” on eBay I guess. If so, there should be the german instructions made by the “CBS-Telespiel-Shop Berlin” with these games.

“Nova Blast” and “Moonsweeper” obviously have shiny silver boxes while “Wing War” looks matt silvery. So this could be a later (cheaper produced) variant.

that's exactly the case.

I believe, that Imagic's ColecoVision releases for Germany (or the German market but I don't remember having these seen here for sale in Austria) were only released (or imported!) that way.
Just Nova Blast has International Edition printed on its box, the other two have not. Were they grey-imported and got the appropriate German manual from Berlin's Telespiel-Shop?

Another thought, as Imagic's releases for the ColecoVision were the last ones ( compared to shiny cardboard releases Atari & Intellivision and other packaging materials for VIC-20, PC, TI99-4A and Philips) and although all three releases carry a 1983 copyright date, I believe that Wing War was the last release for the ColecoVision and therefore is packaged in the silver matt cardboard box to cut costs.

examined the Wing War box – it's the only one that states that the game is for the ColecoVision AND the Adam, so it's a confirmed later release and thus the matt-silver box.

The Digital Press Guide doesn't mention how the box of the NTSC release looks like.

Well done Mr. Mod, now I know why I have you here <img class=" />

I wish the next version of the forum software would allow to move any single post to an existing thread, that would make it easier …

These are my Imagic Colecovision titels:

One glossy "Nova Blast" and two matt-silver "Wing War" and "Moonsweeper" boxes.Last title is an international edition without the "NEW" adding on title.Box reverse has multi-lingual game infos, but manual is in english only.

My "Wing War" has english instructions and an added german manual in simple b/w printing:

Gruß an Dieter und alle Retro-Fans!

Notice that "ColecoVision/Adam" note on the box of Moonsweeper – that spells re-release. So our matt-silver Wing War is also a re-release should we find a shiny box.
