Has anyone purchased the Fireman game yet?  It was released some time ago but a few more became available.  It was a prototype.

I don't mean to pimp for another forum but atariage has some info on it.  I should be getting a copy soon and I'll report back.

I'm happy to report that the game is actually pretty fun and challenging.  I haven't made it past the third stage on easy mode (#1) yet.  Coleconut on the atariage forum released the game.  It is a prototype.  Here is a link for more info: http://www.atariage.com/forums…..l__Fireman

Here is a screenshot borrowed from the atariage forum.

The basic concept is simple.  Your goal is to put out fires.  As you progress different challenges make it harder.  A floating candle, a bomb, and I'm sure other things if I could make it any further.  The graphics are pretty good for its time.  Not much, if any, flickering.  I'm not sure why the fireman is pink instead of red or yellow?  That is a minor issue.  Game play is fun.  The odd shape grey things on the screen are areas you can get a fire hose.  Each hose has limited length so you have to go to more than one.  Luckily all you need to do to grab a hose is walk through the grey thing, no button pushing or anything, and you are ready to spray water on a fire.  The hose is a dashed line and when you have gone to far it automatically retracts.  Thats a basic summary.  I hope you get a chance to play it.

The first run of 20 boxed and 20 loose sold out in 48 hours last summer. A 2nd run of 20 boxed were mostly spoken for BUT a few remaining copies are to be found on my site at http://www.raritynine.com  Note that this is a brand new site still under construction.
