It seems that the servers of my web hoster have been hacked yesterday evening. Not only all of my websites, but also many others were affected. Most stuff is running again now, and it seems that there was fortunately no data loss.

Das taugt mir!

I saw that this morning and I'm glad that the forum came back so fast. Thumbup

By the way, are you making regular backups of the forum?

I am downloading backups of the whole database every week or at least every two weeks. I am trying to nail this down to weekly backups. Unfortunately I haven't found a way to download backups automatically with the web interface every week, so I have to do it manually.

The server was hacked and all index.* files were replaced. So actually no data loss.

Glad to see no damage was done to the forum.Since i only collect for the videopac i don't post much,but i read all the threads since i find them very interesting and keep being amazed by the size of some of your collections.Smile

You don't have to be mad,but it helps
