I appreciate you guys posting images in high quality (= large size on the screen) in the forums. However, this causes some display issues - if a picture is too large, the forum column is expanded beyond the right border of the screen, so you have to scroll horizontally - this doesn't look very good.
Right now I am working on a solution of this issue. The forum software has a feature that allows to show the pictures as thumbnails and if you click on those, the pictures will be displayed as popups in their full sizes. Right now this option is not working - when I turn it on, the pictures disappear and the message [Picture removed by user] appears instead.
I am in contact with the authors of the forums software and hope to have a solution soon. So just keep posting those pictures! <img decoding="async" class="wp-smiley" src="/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif" alt="

Went better than I thought.

I think the solution with the thumbs is perfect!? <img decoding="async" class="wp-smiley" src="/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif" alt="

Edit: You posted in the same minute Jens, LOL. Glad you like it as much as I do <img decoding="async" class="wp-smiley" src="/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif" alt="

Btw: When you click on a thumbnail, the picture is enlarged at most to the window size of the web browser. To view pictures that are bigger than screen size in their full size, first click on the thumbnail to enlarge the picture. Click with the right mouse button in the enlarged picture and select "show picture" (or similar, depending on the browser you are using) - the picture will then be displayed solely on the page and now you should see the browser magnifier icon that allows enlargement of the picture to it's full size.
