I always wondered, and I discussed that also with AtariBuff when driving home from Eurocon in Karlsruhe: How was it possible for Quelle to sell rip-offs of games from other companies through their mail order catalog?

Quelle was already a giant company in the Eighties. Why did nobody sue them? They sold their rip-offs right beside the originals from Atari, Imagic, etc.

Das taugt mir! Aber mit wenig Ei bitte …

I dont know how they did that but many companies sold rip offs

like Froggo in USA , CCE in Argentina or Zellers in Canada

I think Atari and the rest didnt care or as it was close to the first videogame crash didnt have the time and money to sue them…
